Biophysical Chemistry Lab

The Biophysical Chemistry Lab gathers scientists interested in manipulating and understanding biological systems in new ways using the knowledge of chemistry. We develop molecules and methods to observe, manipulate or mimic biological targets or cellular processes in diverse systems (cell-free systems, microorganisms, mammalian cells, up to living organisms) using interdisciplinary approaches that combine molecular or polymer synthesis, analytical and physical chemistry, material engineering, biomolecule engineering, and biophysics.
